Oh the joys....
I have all the same symptoms, Me and a friend have pin pointed the problem on my van to the BCM now, it’s still yet to be confirmed but we ourselves are damn sure that’s the source of the trouble.

Let you all know how I get on, eh

It will boil down to that eventually after exhausting everything else, it is fairly easy to swap over if you have ids and is euro 4/early euro 5 possibly.

The bcm is quite robust though unless it has been directly shorted out.

Always replace with the same nodule numbers or higher, never lower!.

with regards to your cheeping sound, have you got reversing sensors, because i have similar sound when I turn the ignition on and it lasts for about 5 seconds, the sound is a fault with the reversing sensors, hope this helps.

Sorted the cheeping sounds was a parrot hands free kit behind the dash

Just the 'cutting into type of limp mode' problem now :|

My friends work van had the same issues and symptoms middle of last year so he called up the fleet care company for their hired work vans....
They didn’t want to reveal much but what they did reveal spoke volumes lol, another friend has a FORscan programme which logs faults etc and the faults (that were still logged!!) from the time his works van had trouble was literally a mirror image of the faults on mine logged since I started having trouble.

A live real-time scan while driving showed the BCM was de-energising the ignition relay which in turn cut power to the PCM/ECU which caused the cutting out, the other symptoms had as I said mirrored fault codes to mate work van but the one code that kept coming up was I think... UO100 (which relates to the power loss to the PCM/ECU).

I’m hoping to get it booked into the same fleet care company in the next week or so.

Have you ruled out the ignition switch?

Your problem is prv and srv related. Have both been replaced with genuine parts and successful learn after?

I’ve had this problem on two different early mk7’s , both been fixed with just transits out in London/Essex boarders.

That is not his problem, I fitted the valves and did successful learns and did the leak off test on the injectors which were perfect and also we replaced the o rings.

The problem here if you watch the video Is electronic, it is clearly blipping and cutting power momentarily, granted we haven't pin pointed the fault yet but it is an unusual 1 to me atleast :-(

I need to get the van on live data and check what I can to see if I can spot a fault.
Strangely when the van came to me it was cutting out and hunting/ poor starting etc which was gone completely after I updated it and fitted the valves.
The current fault never presented itself to me at all and I wasn't aware of it in its present state which Is why I happily got it running and gave it back.

I believe that this fault was also there before?? Not to confuse both of the faults.

I’ve seen this a few times in the 3 years I’ve owned transits. Where did you get the work done & what was cost?

Edit; not to knock the fella whose replied to me, but id look for a second opinion on this. I’ve had this same problem. First stated to hesitate and miss a beat when changing gears, fuel to empty would go ————. The problem gradually worsened, until the van was undrivable. I ended up with an identical problem, fuel til empty would display ———— on idle after start up, shanking And juddering until it stalled being unable to rev. 1.5 hours with just transit in Essex and £500 later the van was fixed.

It doesn't shake or nothing in idle anymore if anything it actually drives better than ever untill it goes into that mode where it won't rev over 1500 and as you go past it cuts back and millage shows -----. I can drive it for a while now in this mode and all of a sudden it drives normal.

What your saying was happening to me but since having the prv and scv done it just does what you can see in the video.

Did you have any other work carried out?

So I been away with the kids for a week. Used the van and when I stopped at the garage i noticed the hunting has started again

Don't know if this is good news or bad. I can only guess but wounded if when the garage changed the prv and it got driven 18 miles before the learns we're done maybe it blew again??

Did you take the prv out at all when you done the scv mate. Did it look blown or if not is it easy enough for me to remove and check :?

The prv would have been intact.

The scv was from ces and not genuine.
It passed the learns and the system was fine.

Non genuine fuel filter is on there.
Non genuine scv.

Also irregular cutting out.

I can do the learns again if you need me too, I also said I'd try and diagnose the cutting out if I can but after basic to intermediate checks it would be limited because I don't have parts to swap around.
Probably be a week Saturday though but I can probably spend an hour or so this Friday, same as we did before?.

Ah just thought maybe the mechanic who done the prv maybe done it wrong and that caused it. It doesn't actually cut out just that limp mode you can see in the video. Alough if I change gear before 1500 revs and dont speed up fast so it is under low pressure it doesn't seem to be happen.

This Friday is the only day I really need it :( got to pick windows and materials for work. But any other day your free would be great mate. :D
