Really stuck with this now ! Help

Postby Mcallanm17 » Wed Dec 13, 2017 11:33 pm

So I have a Mk7 2012 2.2 dcti and the problem is that when you Rev it up past 2000 revs it becomes very lumpy and the TCL comes on and also the powertain light, (yellow cog) done a leek off test and sent the injectors off to be looked at which resulted in one being replaced as was faulty, put the injectors back in and I still have the same problem. The engine idles fine but is useless under load. Going by the stats on the computer there is plenty fuel pressure in the rail.

Also noted that only when the power train lights comes on there is loads of white smoke and stinks of Diesel like is over fueling. Just spend £250 the get the injectors looked at and a don’t know what to do next so any help would be Appreciated

Did the injectors go back in the same holes?
There are individually coded to the cylinders and mixing them throws out the values the PCM holds for them. Also new one needs coding in anyway and the pump n pilot learns process etc need to be done so the PCM knows how to trim each injector.

Now that I am looking at Siemens injectors I think that’s what I have will double check tomrrow,
I marked them all and all went in the same holes. Ok a will try and get the new one coded and hopefully that solves it

And to be perfectly honest I haven’t changed the fuel filter yet

If they're Siemens, it'll be a Euro-V machine....they're a bit different to the normal Mk7 denso powered setup.

Could this be a dpf issue, over fueling when trying to regen?

Check the wiring to dpf, they are quite common for failure

Would there be a sensor that tells the Ecu that the DPF is blocked when it’s not ? Wiring looks ok
