Heater problem mk 6

Postby jamiehodges1 » Fri Dec 15, 2017 10:28 pm

Ford transit mk 6 rwd 2.4 .... the blower motor recently stopped and after checking the resistor which was fine and the switch that on looking at had burnt out and melted the vacuum pipes that went into it. I have changed the switch but the blower motor only works in position 3. I don't want to keep running on this setting as I've been told it will burn the switch out.

Another thing is the blower motor in position 3 is not pumping out the air on full power

I was of the belief that if it only runs on pos 3 then it's the FSR that's at fault. :?:
