transit seats mk6 mk7 knackard

Postby grandads_shed » Mon Dec 18, 2017 2:21 pm

im sure this has probably been covered before,
but my drivers seat worn , i can feel the metal bar on my lower back and its very uncomfortable to drive for more than an hour,
i cant find any real good seats locally, so was wondering if any one else has used seats out of a car or another make of van that dont need much modification to fit the transit

In the uk we've seen the Ford rs seats used.

The drivers base frame stays and you just get another seat that roughly mates to the frame and you welds it on or make new bolt holes etc, safely of course. :-)

You have crazy other makes in Aus that we don't see here so you'd need to find ones you like and measure up. :-)
