DAMNED DOOR LOCK!!!

Morning All!
Sorry if this has previously been done to death.....
Got an 09 3.5tonne tipper here with a real sod of a problem.. Doors will not lock/unlock! Not the best thing to happen on one of these fer sure..
OK, Drivers door is shut & locked. All the other doors are unlocked. Insert key & it will go about 90deg clockwise & there is a click as something internal happens. No sound atall from any other doors. Key will not turn anticlockwise. Passenger door will not lock from the inside, not tried to lock the rear passenger doors yet.
Any ideas?

If the key doesn't turn both ways, it's either the wrong key, or the key is damaged/worn so it's not recognised by the lock

Fuse 78? Will check that in the morning.
Key works ok in the ign so not sure if thats the problem. Can get a key cut a bit quick & give it a go.

Checked Fuse 78, all good...
Looks like its do some damage time. Cant get door open & need to get at the innards. Time to rip it to bits.

Sometimes my mk7 when I pull up won't unlock the other doors without me starting it up again for a second, I've just had the drivers rear door loom repaired as the protector had snapped and a couple of the wires were snapped or breaking now the locking worked ok apart from this issue so maybe they were dead wires for a better spec van, but maybe related I'm unsure.... Any ideas?

No worries! more comments & ideas the better i reckon.
Got this one sorted. Bit long winded job but it works.. Ended up with seat out, door panel off...after a fashion.. cut access hole to door lock & with the aid of a hammer & chisel, dismantled it. Fitted new lock, electrics & anything else i could find in the area that looked door related & it now works!. Weld up the hole & fit door panel & seat. Happy days...for now.
