I was going to change mine, but throwing the yellow plastic diagnostic bulb away and sealing the hole with a bolt was a much cheaper way of solving the problem..

Sounds alot more hassles than filling a new filter once a year though before twisting it 40 degrees into place. Replace a fully filled new filter to a warmed engine usually works really well.
