I'm not too familiar with smoke colours, but afaik white is either coolant loss/HG issue or a maybe under fuelling.
Black/grey is over fuelling or an air intake restriction/exhaust restriction.
Blueish is burning oil.

Im the white smoke specialist, Ive had a ton of the stuff since last october and only now got it under check but I didnt have the same symptoms as you. Mine was absolute plumes on first start of the day and gradually got worse to the point it was every start.

I have only over the last few days got it very nearly sorted. I did a pump learn via forscan and left the van over night and when I started it the day after i got a tiny bit of smoke and im hoping once i do the pilot learn it will sort the rest.

I had a mass of problems all at the same time which all pointed to a head problem but thankfully after the pressure test of the cooling system (which turned out to be leaking else where) I found the problem wasnt as serious.
