Have a 2012 coming in tomorrow morning - hunting did the scv change from earlier engine (mk7 rwd )

2012 can be either Euro-IV or Euro-V....do you know which one you have..??

SCV sounds Euro-IV though..

Its a 5 complete with all the headaches there's also 3 heater plugs duff on it so not able to regen her dpf :(

yes they have scv

and good luck replacing the glow plugs :(

twat of a job you have to remove the all the egr completely

the egr pipe is about 2 inch in the manifold and it wont come away unless you remove the hole of the egr valve

been their done it got the t shirt

never again it took longer to get them out hours wise then the plugs cost :roll: :lol:

i can tell you a solution for it


is the dpf blocked

am actually surprised the turbo shaft has snapped like mine did 3 times, then the thing run on its own oil and killed its engine like my customers did and this van has only done 66000 miles from new :shock:

Cheers Karl only ever done brakes ,servicing an dpfs on the later euro v will not know if its scv untill I see the van sort of taking a punt on it being the same as a euro 4 so as I can have a ring around tomorrow morning to see if anyone has stock of it before the van comes in to be ahead of the game
