wont start

got a 2.4 tdci mk7 jumbo. put 2 new batteries on now wont turn over unless you jump it from under the bonnet even then it struggles lucky if it turns once. any ideas

I'd personal be checking the earth strap at the batteries and starter to chassis.
Or you've got a lazy starter.

Have you power at the main lead under the bonnet If not check the main fuse on the red lead under the seat

its got ignition it doesn't seam the battery is powering the starter as starter only turn when you put the jump pack on under the bonnet

If the fuse is blown which I suspect may be the case you will have no power under the bonnet irrespective whether you have ign light or not.

Did you clean the new battery terminals.
Are the battery connections on properly and tight ?

all sorted it was the earth on the engine
