Changing transit radio

Postby Dilboy666 » Thu Jan 18, 2018 10:09 am

Morning, newbie here
I want to change the standard cd player to one with aux connection so I can plug my phone in.
Any advice would be great and the cheapest way

Cheers
Dillon

Some Transits have a plug in the passenger side upper dash compartment...

What cd is in it? If it’s the 6000cd that has aux button under cd button then quickest n cheapest is a small lead from bay of fleas. Its just a jack one end that goes into phone headset socket and then plugs onto multiplug at bottom right, 4pin connector

Cheers for the replays
It's the radio with cd/radio only so I'm guessing it won't take aux cable.
Can you take them out and replace them with a generic radio, I have a Sony in my old ranger I could take out .
Cheers

You can buy blank plates if your gonna take out the double din stereo and use a standard single din one. Is your van mk6 or mk7
