transit mk7 wheels

Postby pat ryan » Sun Jan 21, 2018 3:48 pm

I have just signed up to the forum,i have a 2011 mk7/85/260 with 33k on the clock.
will a set of black mk8 custom 15" wheels fit my van.i was going to get a set(black) and also fit the centre caps that are on the silver wheels.
Also where or who makes black abars, they all semm to be chrome, the only black ones seem to be for mk6's.I know you can get a chrome one and spray it but I would be afraid the paint would chip off.thanks.

If you do a bit research I’m sure you can’t fit a bull bar to anything newer than a 2011 or you need a good reason for having it, also your insurance would be interested to here from you

The mk8 wheels will fit your 7 tho you need to check if the seats are tapered of flat on the wheels as your original wheel nuts may be useless

Thanks for the advice,i forgot to post that I am looking for a drivers seat for a mk3 transit pickup. It ia an 89 twin tyred diesel pickup with 60k on the clock(genuine).
I bought it off the guy who bought it new in 1989 a year ago.He is 85 years old now and cant manage it anymore, not bad considering it doesn't have power steering.
