No it doesn't click any more. It was mounted horizontal level with the bottom of fuel tank.
Where it was fitted work OK for over a year.

Sounds like the pump has failed .

Yea there supposed to be mounted slightly angled outlet up to help purge air if it takes any in whether that's had anything to do with it or not.

At least hopefully a new/sh pump should get it going.

Trouble being the pumps are over £100 , not sure if the heater is worth it.

There's a guy on the self build camper vans page on FB who does all that stuff sales fitting servicing and repairs he might be able to help

Would need to check output volumes are the same or similar.
But these are a Russian version of the eberspacher.

Would the d2/d4 pump be the same as a d1.

OK, so I've sourced a second pump, connected up and I can hear this one clicking. Well I saying clicking.
It clicks once, then 3 seconds later it clicks three times and then it all shuts down.
