62 MPH i suspect it is a bus.
My bus is limited to the same.
I believe Vantuner is the man to go to.
I think he'll do a removal by post.
Haven't got his contact details, but plenty of links on the forum.

2006 Transit mk7 135ps LWB Hi-top minibus.

Sounds like a Transit T430 17 seater minibus.

If that's correct. It MUST have speed limiter enabled & is illegal to disable/remove it :!:
Even if seats have been removed & DVLA notified. It MUST have speed limiter enabled as it's GVW is more than 3.5T

Also if it is a T430. & you passed your driving test after Jan 1997. It can't be driven on a standard Car driving licence (CAT B).
As a minibus you have to pass test to gain D1 on licence.
Or
If to be converted to camper (As mentioned in your previous posts)& registered with DVLA (DVLA will issue a new V5 with Motorhome or Motor Caravan on it.)
You'll have to pass a test to gain C1 on licence.

Hi guys, My van is a 7 seater not a 17 seater on the log book It's a 2006 Transit 350 LWB Revenue weight=3500KG Gross, number of seats including driver 10.
Hope this helps. Cheers Bob.

You don't need IDS to remove speed limiter, some garage scanners can do that as well. For example Delphi one, which can also do pump learns, injector programming. Some of these scanners costs 3 times less than visit to ids guy.

Forscan can do it too...but make sure it's "Legal" first.

Minibuses with more than 8 passenger seats. Speed limiter must be enabled.

You must notify DVLA the change in number of seats from 10 to 7. Before speed limiter can legally be removed.
It also allow drivers whom passed their test after Jan 1997 to drive it on a standard B licence.
