tddi injectors?

Postby norfolkandgood » Wed Feb 28, 2018 10:50 pm

2.4 rwd past couple of weeks before weather was really cold exhaust started to smell like its not burning fuel right.

Running same as normal doesn't seem to be using more fuel, starts ok etc.

No fault lights other than immobiliser flashing away as it has done for past five years lol

A mate has borrowed f super scan job and not returned it yet.

Any ideas

Couple of days of work this week and the temperature outdoors is ok so was planning on having a look at this.

Going to give it oil and filters as it's due, is it worth pulling the injectors to have them checked out or am I just pi55ing in the wind.

If the light is flashing she'll have codes stored...best wait till you read them first or it becomes an expensive guessing game.

If the light has been flashing for 5 years, who's to say there aren't any new codes or new problems etc....you'd never know.?? She's calling out for help.. :?

Ran fsuper jobbie threw out codes:
B1600
B2550

Live data Fuel offset:

Injector A 0.6 ish Over fuelling?
Injector B -0.16 ish
Injector C -0.13 ish
Injector D -0.35 ish

Injector A in the positive range and the others negative whatever that means?

As I was observing live data the readings were simultaneously fluctuating. The quoted figures represent a completely un empirical and unscientific average based on a sound misunderstanding of what's happening.

Can anyone explain what this indicates?

Injector A Fecked?

Cheers
