Have you programmed the bcm with your asbuilt?

You must install the bcm and initialize it and pats for keys and asbuilt with your vin.

That's a blind install I don't recall doing a new module installation inhales from the old 1 into the new 1 and also sends asbuilt across. Rule is generally we expect that to also send a fault across if the original module is faulty but then I'd expect a checksums error or failure to program although there are multiple levels of data so...... Meh Lol.

Anyway.
Did you do asbuilt? Can you confirm that the bcm config is correct?
That's before you try reprogramming the rcm etc.

yes I tried that so many times with the original rcm and it just fails security denied I think it says I don't want to try it with the 2 replacement units as I don't want to scrap them as well
it looks like the B1935 code might be real I would of thought that my misconfigured rcm would of also show that code

The roof sensor has 3 wires plus/minus/linbus.
You clearly have power because the led lights up.
So all you have left is lin lin bus to check.
I would expect a fault code if it wasn't working.

Why not try data logger and look for bcm or body related and see if there is rcm items (I've only ever done the pcm for engine stuff) but you can maybe see if the rcm data is getting to the bcm. failing that you'll need to. Meter the Lin cable from the sensor to the bcm.

Hi
Thanks for the diagram ive managed to fix the central locking with its help the signal wire was broken. I found the brojen wire in drivers window pillar
So thank you for that

On my rcm that i misconfigured i purchased 2 replacements with same part number AE but got the same fault code in them both b1935 passenger side squib low.
So i thought it might be a fault on the van so ive unplugged the passenger airbag and now theres no fault

My question are AE modules twin airbag or could i have got single airbag modules

Thanks

As I understand it they can be programmed if they are AE but Not AD as was the case for me.

Ids is configured to make them twin airbag if you configure them, if you reconfigure them as single with the info I put on the forum then that's ok but the problem is being able to do it!

Simple thing is not to reconfigure them

They may be single or twin and the only way to know is to make sure you know what van they came from.

Luckily about 80% are single so you'd be unlucky to get a twin.

Usually fitted to buses and top spec vans and transit sport.
Less on tippers and crappy spec vans.

Correction, you've got twin airbag and need a twin airbag config installed into your rcm but you've got single config rcm so it should be a simple case of reconfiguring it to be twin.

Ids is set up for twin as standard which is the reason a few of us accidentally reconfigured our rcm to train airbag.
