I've never had to do this, so I don't know, but is the cam sensor anywhere nearby to disturb :?: :idea:

The tdci's don't really get air locked, as long as the fuel filter has fuel in it then they should start and purge the air out themselves. N

no, it is self bleeding.

just run on idle and turn the wheel a few times.

might want to turn the cap of the resevoir a bit loose so the air has a place to go.

Tryed everything with this power steering just giving up and going to find a garage I've had the van just over a month and it's been off the road for three weeks thanks for all your help and advice maybe I have a dodgy power steering pump

Power steering fluid from europarts got it with the new steering pump the garage said it's a dodgy pump

I believe the transits take red or green ATF fluid for the PAS. N

Its likely the vanes are stuck inside the pump. Happens when they wear out and get shelved mostly
