Well it's not the sender unit. I have also changed glow plugs and done new wiring no look. I put a smaller amp fuse in fuel pump fuse it doesn't pop. The van just doesn't want to start. It is really puzzling me. I don't want to have to scrap it. Any ideas anyone

Hi just though I would let people know that we couldn't get the van to work at all. We had to buy a different van and put in a new engine. All well now and up and running

Hi there just wandering if you could tell me the fuse number and really number for the fuel pump? I believe I’m having the same problem. But it’s low pressure fuel side so I’m guessing in tank fuel pump may have failed but I’m hoping it could just be a fuse. I have a 2.0 Tddi 2005. Any help would be amazing.

The 2.0 TDDi doesn't have an intank pump....have you had the codes read..?? Pump EDC and timing solenoid often give greif.

It must do as I have one on top of my tank, 100%. It had a new pump 2 months ago so that can’t be a fault, surely. As I said I have high pressure fuel but no low pressure. How can the fuel get to the filter and up with a sender unit?

Sorry, you're wrong...They "do not" have an in tank pump as standard. The engine driven fuel pump draws fuel from the tank to fill the filter. If yours has a low pressure pump somewhere, someone must have retrofitted it.

The 120/125ps 2.4 has a lift pump on the filter head, but no others.
