Postby Tpoles95 » Mon Mar 19, 2018 10:50 pm

I bought my mk6 with a dent high up on the rear corner. its starting to bug me looking at it.

i was wondering i anyone on here had any success with the kits on amazon or similar. As id rather not be paying for dent repair.

It's a mk6.
Corn flour/treacle and a rasp?
Random rattle can from halfrauds = sorted.

failing that post a pic of the dent for a more informative answer.
Ie; suck/pull/push to get it out without too much after work.

Self tapper in centre of dent. Pull with pliers. Usually leaves a little raised bit where screw was, quick hit with grinder and tap with hammer.
Will be left with a 2mm hole and a slight dimple to fill rather than a big dent....
