transit has broken down again

Postby george999 » Sat Mar 17, 2018 6:25 pm

she's just had a new crankshaft sensor and new cam sensor and new flywheel and batteries.went into limp mode.she fired up with easy start .but would not rev she would idle ok but not rev.rac came out and said it's low pressure valve on top of fuel rail.had her running on and off while waiting for recovery and now she won't start.

it's a jumbo transit 09 plate 2.4

anyone got any idea of what is wrong

Low fuel pressure! the rac mans already said!

Probably blown it’s prv!

Might need, scv, prv, pump&pilot learns, updates?
Probably best check the frp and do a leak off test.

Low fuel pressure and low tyre pressure are exact same untill we see the actuall reading of fuel pressure.
Precision guess work)))
What are the fault codes?
What is actuall fuel pressure?
Is tha air gap correct between the flywheel and the crankshaft position sensor?
Answer those and the van will start and run again
Regards

I wonder is the new sensor tight :?: A loose sensor will cause the dash flicker

after all the trouble over the weekend , went to start her up and she runs fine , it seems everytime it rains it causes her to lose power and she has to be recovered something getting damp and causing a short ????
