Lights on dash

Postby Utg » Thu Mar 22, 2018 7:29 pm

Hi all, I’m currently driving a ford transit 85 t260m fwd 61 plate. For a few months when I’m driving Ithe dash board lights will come on, this being hand brake light, skid light, engine management light, abs light, my lcd screen will go blank and my speedo goes to zero miles a hour. It sometimes shudders but I have learnt to control this so it does not happen. It goes into a little limp mode but not a lot.ive had a auto electrician look 3 times in which he thought it was the cluster but no joy. Also two mechanics have looked!! Hope someone can help and this is enough info. Many thanks sam

Do you have twin batteries or a single under the drivers seat..?? If twins, the front one may be fugged..!! How old are the batteries..??

Get them properly load tested just to make sure they're up to the task..

Ignition switch is also a common failing point..!
