2006 transit fwd tdci F1FA engine

Postby dannysconnect » Tue Apr 10, 2018 10:37 pm

Hi

As in the title

I am looking for an engine to fit a 2006 transit

Spec requirements below

F1FA
2.0 tdci FWD

Type with long tip injectors

I've a set of brand new long tip injectors that came out of the previous engine that died due to a 10mm nut being drawn into the intake

If anyone has one and is selling, PM me. Has to be the kind that fits the long tip injectors.

Have had some ugly experiences where the engine supplier gave me an engine that only housed shorter tip injectors and the long tip don't seat how they should due to minute construction differences

Thanks

Easier to fit a Mondeo mk3 2.0 TDCI engine.

Fit straight in plus they are more easier to get hold of 8)

No issue at all.

I fitted complete engine with injectors from 2004/5 Mondeo mk3 130ps into mk6's & mk7's (using mk6 TDCI 125ps PCM & wiring)

See Here  viewtopic.php?f=27&t=182739

Vid here of my van running a Mondeo mk3 130ps engine  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEpVXomtL6g.
I got instrument cluster working by using mk6 TDCI 125ps PCM

If your injectors ('long") are in good conditions - look for Mondeo engine before 06.2003 lift.
If injectors are not so good, you can take Mondeo engine after lift with "short" injectors - of course it is necessary to record their new codes to PCM.

Your genuine engine has code FIFA 8)
