What part of the engine is this? I'm not a mechanic but want to stop the leak from here. Gunk all around the area as in the pics. Part? Repair? Thanks!

Would really help if you told us what model van you have...???
Picture is absolutely huge...but it looks like the thermostat housing of a 2.4.

The part in the pic looks like the EGR valve after taking a look, but I tihnk it's the vacuum pump gasket which is throwing oil everywhere around it, looks quite common so may try and replace soon, thoughts?
