Hi all. 2.4I, 125 bhp, 2004 MK6
Getting cheesed off. Having just finished a turbo change due to excess oil from the turbo intake. The van starts straight away and idles at about 800. If I listen carefully the idle seems to have a slight irregularity to it and after a minute or two it starts to make white smoke. Then if I rev it it goes to dark greyish smoke.
Checked the codes with FORScan and it repeatedly shows up 1554 & 1664. Also shows EGR 0404 code but it’s new from Ford and hasn’t done any mileage.
The also seems to be a chuffing noise coming from the rear of the pump area, I’ve sprayed the area to see if it affects the idle Rpm. No increase or decrease in Rpm
New EGR
New Egr solenoid
New MAP sensor
Intercooler cleaned
Intake manifold cleaned
Injectors tested
Turbo replaced
Does it look like a pump service required, if so can anyone recommend somewhere to get a VP44 repaired and would it requirerecoding to the ecu ?
