Can’t open side sliding door!!

Hello! I’m hoping someone has had this issue!

So currently having a issue opening the side sliding door,

When pressing the central locking you can hear everything working and sounds like it unlocks as you can hear a clunk from the mechanism area, but when you go to open it does nothing....

I can open it though when applying pressure to the rear of the sliding and everything seems to work fine but very tempamental

I did notice the central roller had some forward and backwards movement when open but would that cause an issue?

The contacts for the locking are at the rear of the sliding door.
Check to see if they are corroded/dirty or sticking.

But it is probably movement in the slide/roller that is keeping the rear of the door slightly away from the body so the contacts are not contacting properly
