This is True,, I have been Driving Transits now since 1980 so that's 38 year. This mark 7 I have owned probably about 8 years and may replace it soon. Now here we go just to remind you this is True.. In all those years I have never run with a full tank of fuel. I keep it about half way or less. One reason , Have you weighed a Gallon of Fuel I recon it must weigh about 10 pound in weight so to me it don't seem correct driving around carrying lots of Gallons due to all the unnecessary weight of all this Liquid !! I do not carry anything in the Van that is not needed. I also have my tyres a bit harder to help with mpg, Also I don't drive very fast, Any body else like this ?? Must squeeze every mile out of a Gallon of Fuel,
Ford Transit 280 SWB,,Year 2008,,2.2,, If it can,t be fixed/repaired/ with a 4 pound lump hammer then it must be an electrical problem.
