running a few mk7 lwb high top vans right now
one is pretty rough, could do with replacing it...
I was thinking of looking for a few drive van instead, lower floor and extra height would be a help to us
we run fully loaded all the time
I was asking around about the FWD vans and two different people told me they're too gutless for the weight I run
I figured 115ps is the same if it's fwd or rwd (guessing gear ratios are about the same?)
when I passed my test we used to use those big/long talbot/citron/peugeot vans (can't remember the model names) - (had to use them because the transits kept getting nicked) - they were all fwd and were good with the weight on
used to run heavy in those days... I can remember once van once you were loaded you couldn't close the back doors because the van would twist and they didn't line up anymore
any input/ideas anyone?
I don't want the vans to be fast, fast van just means the driver will kill them... but at the same time need to keep up with traffic when you're fully loaded
