Programming a new transponder for key

Hi everyone

Does anyone happen to know how to program a key transponder? I bought a van that only had the one key and I'm looking to get a second one before the inevitable happens and I lose the one and only key!.

Also is there an easy way to find out the key code for the locks? Id prefer to get a key cut from the code rather than the original key, because the original is a bit worn.

Use a tibbe pick to decode the lock for the number.

Either get the existing transponder cloned or its ids etc time.

A good mechanic at the ford stealership can simply "read" the key and give you the number so it can be duplicated.
Making the key and fake transponder needs to happen at your local east-european key shop. Expect 100 british roupies or more for just the key at the stealership.
