Mk7 transit engine number

Can't find engine number been looking for hours it's a
2.4 rwd cheers

It is supposed to be stamped on a boss on the block.
Exhaust side of engine just in line with cylinder four, just above the alloy section above the sump.

There should be :-
The four letter engine type code
The engine serial number

And of course everyone tells dvla when they change the engine.
