Hi guys, having some issues with my rear door. It's locked shut and won't open. The side door only opens from the inside so that cannot be opened. Was going to take it to a garage but I'm not paying hundreds. I have a feeling that cables have been swashed between the door and the frame deadlock in the door. Debating drilling out the door handle and hooking the cable in an attempt to open it. I'm getting the door replaced because of a large dent which is unrepairable. Anyone got any ideas on how to get it open would be a big help

Get in thru side door. Remove ply-lining or door card from left rear door as you look at it from the inside. From in there it should be obvious to you what to fiddle with to open the door. Unless its dealocked whereas you will need some of this:

when you try to unlock it either with the key of the fob -does the rear offside door lock make a noise

When I unlock it I can hear the side door unlock but hear nothing from the rear door. Still can’t get in the side door because of the grommet missing on the cable system. If there’s no way to open the rear door then plan B is to cut through the bulkhead, reach in and manually open the side door then but a bloody grommet in
