mk6 drivers door wont open

The fob went dead so I was locking doors via the key. Went to lock the doors the other day and doors cycled through locked to unlocked then nothing.

Drivers door is locked and won't open even from the inside. None of the other doors will lock and using passenger door is a right f*&k on.

Any ideas on how to get it open?

I think you're gonna have to remove the door panel and take a look.

Ok, so I have taken the door panel off and everything seems to be connected ok.

I am wondering if the lock is dead and stuck in the lock position. Could it be worth powering a pin on the connector block to see if it opens?

Problem is I don't know which one, anyone have any ideas with this?
