EML, Powertrain and ESP lights all on

Postby Steves20 » Fri Jun 22, 2018 7:16 pm

Hi,

Driving my recently purchased mk7 2.2 (125T260 with 150k on the clock) and have the engine management light on permanently, with the powertrain light coming on after driving only a few yards then followed by the ESP light. Engine has a noticeable lack of power and reluctance to rev.

I have a basic OBD 2 which is showing the following codes P2463, P00BD, P0299, P2085 and P246C and in addition with P2463, P00BD, P0299 and P246C as pending faults.

I know that the air mass meter was replaced with a genuine Ford unit by the previous owner just before I bought the van.

Any suggestions on where to start looking would be appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

Have now resolved this issue, found the following:

Regen cycle was not happening as it should, found fuel vaporiser and the DPF pressure sensor needed changing and then the DPF had to be cleaned, once this was completed there was a turbo boost fault code which turned out to be a split intercooler hose which has now also been changed.

Result is that the van is now performing exceptionally well, cost me a few quid but well worth it!
