Euro 5 'Smoke'

Postby WarrenB » Thu Jul 12, 2018 4:37 pm

Noticed a bit of a haze in the headlights of the car behind when setting off in the dark, which on a Euro5 with DPF I didn't think would/should happen.

Looks like white smoke, but having a poke around tonight it looks like what could just be ash from whatever crap the DPF has been burning.

Does this sound normal/possible or am I talking out of my arse?

Van uses no oil or coolant so I'm 99.9% certain everything is sorted in that respect, and the DPF appears to be doing its regens normally too.
