they wont fit and even if they did the fucus rims have a WAY lower weight class. you would simply snap the spokes when you put anything in the back or drive over a bump.

Plus the tyres in your pick are only rated at 615kg ....not even close.

In all honesty they are probably more than strong enough, but, and this is the important thing, they won't be correctly rated, and this tends to get both insurance companies and MOT inspectors a bit concerned.

Insurance will use it as an excuse to not pay out, even if not a contributing cause of any accident.

MOT can pick it up, and are likeky to impound the van til you change them - we see this regularly with T5s being tested across the way from us.

i have seen it a lot broken rims with T5 transporters, they usually get the job treatment with cheap resprays, a spoiler, lowerd so it scrapes leaves and the biggest chrome rims you can fit and as soon as they get any serious nock or decent weight on them they snap like twigs.

even steel rims have ratings, seen quite a bit during my army time with bent steel rims as the army cheaped out on the rims.

I do mostly agree, but standard Ford rims will be lot stronger than lightweight aftermarket. That's not to condone fitting inappropriate under-rated wheels.

There's very good reason for the standard Transit steels looking a bit plain, it makes then strong and reasonably light. Having felt the weight of a Transit Ally wheel, I'm quite happy to stick with the steel ones.
