An option I haven't ruled out but will of course depend on the offer they make me. If for whatever reason I don't get it back, I may be tempted by a lwb sprinter.
Totally impractical for daily use but would make a good race van :lol:

Well, somehow, it was not written off. Advised today it has been booked into the bodyshop I took it to for assessing in a few weeks time, the parts have been ordered and they have a courtesy car for me while it's in (their courtesy van was already booked out)
A mixture of relief and amazement (and a little bit of disappointment I wont get the chance to try and get a mate to fix it and have a few quid left to spend on other bits for it).

At least I don't have to worry about finding another van and I suppose I will be in the exact situation I was beforehand, which I guess is what insurance is there for

Let us know what happens when the insurance is up for renewal to see if they up the prices
