Transit Floor Protection

Postby Luckett's Dairy » Tue Jul 17, 2018 7:18 am

Morning guys, I have had to strip one of our MK7's back to bare metal in the cab to have some welding done etc. It has been ground back ready for a respray inside however I am having trouble locating what I can only describe as metal protection pads??? These are like a rubber material that is stuck/glued directly onto the metal in areas of high wear like both footwells and under the seats. Does anyone know what these are or where to get them? Pictures attached of what I mean.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Might be wrong but I thought it was just noise dampening material, like DynaMat

Yeah, it’s pretty much a noise dampening pad.

Dynamat or flashband etc would do.
