Mk6 2.0 Fault Code help Please?!

My 2.0 mk6 developed a loss of power, smoking and sounds very rough. I checked the turbo hoses, egr valve all ok. I took it to my local garage to diagnose who replaced no 1 injector, at a vast cost. There was no difference. I left it with them, two weeks later I am told even though the compressions on the cylinders were good the engine is terminal!!! The fault codes they told me that are on it are P1564 and P0149 which I believe are both feeling issues. Does anyone have any information on these codes or had this issue before? Is it worth changing the fuel solenoid? Cheers!

Thanks for posting, unfortunately neither code is among the lists. I’ve searched the forum for the codes which comes up as fuelling. I just wondered if anyone recently has had these codes and what rectified the problem. Cheers!

Thanks Ned, I’ll check the diesel timing first then have a go at the solenoid! The original O/P on the link didn’t post back, I’ll make sure I do!!
