Hi guys, posted on here before regarding one of my company vans
We also have a mk7 transit 2.2 and the injector bolt had snapped causing the injectors to bounce up and down, unfortunately one of our employees continued to drive it leaving the copper washers welded to the injectors Which we have been told has made no damage to the engine, fortunately we were given a set from a working van with that started great no smoke but our mechanic has installed the injectors not realising there must of been some remain of washer left in the bore of one injector so due to injector not being sat flush its chuffing oil so basically im asking whether
If one of injector seals arnt sitting flush can this be letting oil weep into piston causing abit of smoke in the morning/ lumpy idle untill ive give it a few revs ?
Also
Can imjectors being coded but not pilot learned cause smoke?
Any help would be really appreciated, thanks
