Pop down Evans Halshaw and you'll see what I mean. Done about 300 miles now and yes its fixed but I think with a slight hesitancy, it just doesn't seem to pick up as quick, might be me but don't think so.

Bringing up an old thread I know, but look what we have just been told.....

0924 - TRANSIT ENGINE SYSTEM FAILURE

SOME TRANSITS MAY EXHIBIT "ENGINE SYSTEM FAILURE" IN CLUSTER MESSAGE CENTRE,
SOMETIMES WITH A "HARD BUZZER" WARNING NOISE WHEN THE IGNITION IS SWITCHED ON.
IF THERE IS NO DTC CODE PRESENT AND NO COMPLAINT OF POOR DRIVEABILITY, PLEASE
IGNORE THIS MESSAGE AS IT HAS NO IMPACT ON THE VEHICLE. PLEASE DO NOT REPLACE
PCM OR CLUSTER, THE CALIBRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE BY END OF MAY 08.

Woohoo, soon to be a fix :D
I miss my 'courtesy van'............140 Glx..now a Jumbo :(

Dealer had mine for a day last month and it would appear that 'they' solved it (with more than a little help from Coconut) :)

Hi guys and lassies, my 56 plate transit t 260 has just started to display engine malfunction on the display and reduced power not unlike limp mode. After reading previous posts I am not 100% sure if I have understood what the fix is?? Is it just a egr clean/ replacement or more serious?? I would be very gratefully for any assistance. Also is it possible to do an ecu reset and ecu diagnoses of fault codes without going to a stealer. The reason I ask is that on my Nissan pathfinder it was possible by turning on ignition and following a certain procedure you could diagnose faults it you can read the flashing engine management light flashes. Many thanks in advance. :)

It needs to be plugged in to read the fault codes, there is no dashboard shortcut :(
