2012 mk7 euro 5 poor start cold smoke when running

Just got a 2012 mk7 2.2 fwd. euro 5 poor to start cold cranking and cranking then starts lots of smoke runs ok apart from smoke on acceleration when warn starts fine first time is it fuel related ?
Had heater plugs, fuel filter
No lights on dash been told it could be the scv or the pcm is this the same on the euro 5 know the the fuel filter is different
Any help would be good is the scv coded or can it just swop it to try it and comment problems

Better you get Forscan. Check codes for glow plugs and DTC for no consul lights.
There is no SCV on the 2012 E5 - there is a pressure control valve on the HP pump.
Transits are not all the same. 2011 Mk 7s were changed from E4 to E5.
Different coloured smoke and smell can indicate source.
Check for pulsing at the oil filler.
Info' re' your vehicle can be put in the signature. Mileage at year, RWD, FWD etc.

You don't have to have a fault light on to have fault codes stored....you still need to check for any historic or current fault codes, if any are stored, they may give a clue as to what/if any issues will be.

As tranmx2 mentions, Euro-5's don't have an SCV like the Euro-4's. Have the injector "adaptions" been carried out..??

Injector adaptions are a service function, Forscan or IDS can do them.

Twin batteries..?? If so, check the front one.....Check for poor earths behind the passenger headlamp, under the PCM.
