Mk7 100 T350 ABS issues

Postby Stevie Boy » Thu Mar 28, 2024 12:20 am

Ive got a 2011 2.4 100 T350, after driving a little distance i lose the speedo, abs, traction control light comes on with the handbrake light, occasionally its just the abs light and traction control light, ive plugged it in and i get 2 codes C1A93-29 right rear speed sensor and U0401-86 invalid date received from ecm/pcm, ive put a new sensor on it and its still the same, ive read thendata and its getting a reading from the rear sensor, has anyone got any ideas please

Have you changed tyres recently..?? Had any work done to the brakes..??

If you've replaced the ABS sensor, it may be the wiring to it which is not happy.

I've found that when speedo/mileage goes to ------ then usually it's at least two speed sensors or wiring to sensors faulty/broken (especially if nsf is broken and shorting on chassis or brake pipe near abs pump) these wires become very brittle and can be broken inside the black plastic corrugated conduit so best to fully check very closely the full length of these wires back to the main loom especially the front ones in engine compartment inner wings (and down near the abs pump )
