Yours has the axle shaft recall as well :!:

Ooh, a 125ps on a 5.13 axle, flying machine 8) 8)

No outstanding recall on yours :D
I miss my 'courtesy van'............140 Glx..now a Jumbo :(

i checked shaft play today, o/s 1.2mm n/s 1.1mm what should they be and minmax tollrences.

what is involved to make the fault fixed

Thats well within spec, maximum is 1.7mm, dont think there is a minimum as long as there's a bit of end float :!:

Just a simple case of fitting the DiSH to yours :D

i went to my local ford dealer . they said they would sort the axle and it would be done in the day,,,,, very helpful.

Nope, its only on the single wheel 'salisbury' axle, yours has a 'DANA' axle :)

Yep, Ford pays as its done under warranty :D

The DiSH is a Differential Shim Holder, if it needs shims it hold them in place but if no shims are needed its for added security so the 'C' washers on the halfshafts dont come out :wink:
