57 Plate transit wingmirror removal

Hi guys first post so go easy!!! cannot for the life of me work out how to remove the wingmirror off a 57 plate transit minibus, it has two colts at the bottom and some blanking piece at the top, anybody know? many thanks in advance

The bolt that looks like a blanking piece is a shear bolt,head snaps off when tightened.

Stops people pinching your mirrors easily

If your mirrors u/s destroy the plastic around this bolt & then using a centre punch/chisel tap it loose & screw it out.

Never removed an undamaged mirror but i guess you`d have to drill bolt then use a stud extractor or something..............
