G'day mate. :D

You'll probably need to use the Vin at some point when ordering parts & such like....be aware that the 'O' should be an '0' (zero).

Thanks so much for sorting me out regarding the O vs zero (0) in the VIN. I drive a Sprinter based motorhome in NZ. It has a Sprint Shift transmission which has caused a few headaches and wallet hits. I am looking forward to a 5-speed manual for a change of pace. The Sprinter (130hp) has a 4.33 rear axle ratio which is fine. I have driven this Transit before as I brought it from a friend and find it is slow (happy around 80kph) but actually seeing the rear ratio is 5.11 probably is just reaching it's rev limit. Does this make sense? This should probably be addressed on a different thread I imagine.

It sure is....the server spits it's dummy out the pram if you use an 'O'.

 A Sprinter Driver

If you look at the post above, the 125ps preceded your 115ps....you've both got the same axle with a different Crown Wheel & Pinion. Being where you are, it may be more difficult to find a 4.63 Crown Wheel & Pinion.

The market in Blighty being what it is....it's just as easy to source a complete axle....there is a noticeable difference between the two at motorway speeds. 8)
