Lock it with remote fob.
Leave it running for about 15 mins (about same time it should normally take to warm cab)
Try to open it again with fob.

If it don't work,
i'll be able to get in through window !

If you have a second key you can lock it while the other key is in the ignition, The key lock still works when ignition is on its only fob which wont work

Only have one key.

Does the ford dealers still hold the monopoly on supplying ford chipped keys.

what kinda price can i expect to pay for a spare key ?

You don't need a chipped key to unlock or lock the van only to start it

any auto locksmith can cut and code anew key i paid £60 takes half hour
