bending the egr flexi gently was for once what i did, the pig was releasing the tension on the tensioner to loop the belt over the pulley my language was to say the least not gentle lol.
no doubt you guys have an easy way.

1/4 drive ratchet to realease the tension or if your cleaver 3/8 drive reduced to 1/4 for more leaverage :wink:

Or 1/4 drive ratchet with a 16mm spanner on the end which wedges nicely behind the lifting eye :)
I miss my 'courtesy van'............140 Glx..now a Jumbo :(
