Fwd everytime for me...

When it was snowing i pi55ed past a rwd that had all its passengers out trying to get it moving,not sure they apreciated my grin as i passed but i recon FWD will be on his lists of wants :)
Other benefits are the lower load floor and lack of seperate diff,prop and bearing to look after.

I would say if your that keen not to get stuck then have the AWD option, best of both worlds then, and i doubt youl ever be stuck :D

RWD with plenty of weight over rear axle and good tyres. But you really need twin rears to be any good...never been stuck in a twin wheeled van, single wheelers get stuck if you spit on the grass

i put a good set of mud plugers on my mk5 when we had the snow
never got stuck
much 2 my surprise
will try to up load some pic
