check the 3 wire plug is on the alt correctly and make sure there isnt 2 rubbers in the conector not allowing it fully in.

Thanks for all the replies.

It turned out that the new alternator was faulty. Returned it and got another and it is working perfectly.

Hi I have have the same issue did you solve yours if so what was the problem I have replaced both with new tho and still having issues cheers rob
