Rubber dampening thingy ?

Postby Cresser » Tue May 21, 2013 9:23 pm

Can anyone tell me, or go have a quick look at their connect, to see if the top radiator rubber dampening thing should be held in place or is loose.

See pics.

Is it OK like that, or should the rubber be held in the groove?

They can be a bit loose, as radiator is still secure.

Check radiator lower support bracket, there are prone to corrosion.

No, as you have the early Plastic/GRP Slam panel.

Same as my old 2003 connect here before I replaced it with a later steel one
