hi all,, been looking at a connect as a runaround,, can somene please tell me the road tax costs for a factory lpg connect?

we did it by thr reg plate in conjuction with dvla !!

Hi i have an LPG connect and its currently classified ats a TC39 LGV @ £180 a year.

I have just contacted DVLA as i have a powershift certificate showing it is Euro 4 compliant from Fords. (a must have if you want london congestion charge exemption).

They have advised my to go to my local DVLA office for them to check out if the vehicle is incorrecly taxed and supply a refund if required.

I will post again once i have an answer for you.

Mine is a 2004 Connect 200L SWB Low roof.

Just been to my local DVLA office armed with my V5 and my LPG certificate from Ford, after much debate they have agreed to change my tax band to Euro 4 LGV (TC36) @ £120 per year ! this is only applicable if your van if your vehicle is registered between 1/3/03 - 31/12/06. my certifcate said something about band 4 emission levels so i got a new tax disc and a refund in the post unless dvlc swansea change their minds.
