That's 'cos them spokes are too big and heavy for anymore to be practical BJT, even kiddies bikes generally only have three plastic spokes 'cos children are not strong enough to pedal them otherwise. I bet those Orbea ones are bamboo reinforced though, unlike the poundland bottle holders on it.

Stronger than my old 36 spokers? How do you straighten them cant see a where you put your spoke key?
No good for me I like to pour meths on my wheels and rode with them on fire to impress chicks those plastic ones would melt

Well I hit a dude on that fell on the floor in front of me at 30 odd mph a few weeks ago with those 'plastic' wheels and it's all ok :wink:
There's no truing bonded carbon; but they've survived some pretty impressively sized potholes already

You've been dun anyway rim depth 60 -66mm how is that going to help lateral wind risistance when a steel one from lidi is about 15mm yours have 45 mm x 3.14 x2 extra area to catch the wind :shock:
